We have special concern with work in analytic moral philosophy, on the view that work in the history of ethics and technical training in analytic philosophy should serve as two sources for serious thought about matters of good and bad, right and wrong, in human life. For example, we support research and educational programming on questions of character and value, conduct and policy, practical wisdom, leadership, and moral education. Working with senior scholars, we seek to cultivate future generations of ethicists and to help students integrate informed, critical, and thoughtful concern about how one should live into their fields of inquiry, their work, and their lives. From a core focus in philosophy, we endeavor to strengthen and inform current and future leaders in business, medicine, law, and other fields.
